B+G Marine Services has strengthened its services and team with the addition of an internationally-renowned rigging technician, a new operations and quality control manager, and the promotion of Ted Reshelitoff to general manager.
Tim and Helen Paull have joined as lead rigger and operations manager respectively and bring a wealth of experience to the team. Tim and Helen owned THL Superyachts for over 10 years specializing in the installation and maintenance of rigging for yachts over 100 feet.
Yachts in their client roster included S/Y Hemisphere the world’s largest cruising catamaran at 145 feet; Perini Navis Perseus, Taouey, Persifal 3, Tamsen and Atmosphere; J Class Lionheart; and the 65-metre ketch Adix from Pendennis Shipyard updating her aluminium rigs to carbon fibre and her wire standing rigging to ECsix carbon rigging.
Tim has a Bsc (Hons) in Marine Studies and substantial experience in the yachting industry, both on the technical side of rigging as well as sailing, including several Atlantic crossings. Helen has been a shipwright for over 23 years shipwright with many years of experience working in the superyacht industry for many well-regarded companies as well as directly employed by boats in various countries. She is a qualified mechanic and has extensive carbon repair experience from her work at BM Composites in Palma.
Ted Reshelitoff
Ted joined B+G in 2020 as operations manager from Nanny Cay where he was boatyard and chandlery manager. A maritime veteran with a USCG 50 ton OUPV license, Ted has extensive cruising and racing experience and skipper and boat captain with multiple deliveries, cruising and racing campaigns since 2008.
B+G Marine Services, with a staff of 12, provides a large range of products and services, including larger refit projects, in-house metal machining/fabrication and welding, a variety of shipwright services, mechanical and electrical repairs and overhauls, fibreglass, gelcoat and carbon repair, and full rigging services.
B+G’s partner company, Yankee Point Marina, is a full-service boatyard and marina on the Rappahannock river in the Chesapeake Bay. With 101 slips for monohulls and catamarans, and room for 180 boats in the boatyard, Yankee Point also offers the same services as B+G for boat owners throughout the mid-Atlantic and New England.
